Mindful Resources for Families: Meet Loa

Welcome to Be Mindful Together, where I provide mindful family resources designed to help you navigate the three ripples of care.

My mission is to help families find a rhythm of connection, joy, and creativity.

Over 20 Years of Supporting Families through Stories and Connection

As an author and early childhood specialist, I create tools that help families move into a rhythm of joy.

Specifically, my work has always centered on supporting children and families through stress and big feelings. I also focus on the everyday challenges of growing up.

To every book and resource I create, I bring a foundation of professional experience. For example:

Early Childhood Expertise: My journey spans preschool classrooms and family shelters. Additionally, I spent years as a professional nanny. These roles gave me a front-row seat to the needs of children.

Academic Foundation: I hold degrees in Child Development. Consequently, every resource I build is rooted in the science of how children learn and grow.

Holistic Wellness: Additionally, I am a certified yoga teacher. I have specialized training in supporting children with autism, and individuals navigating major life transitions.

Creating Mindful Family Resources: The Story Behind the 3 Ripples

I created Be Mindful Together to translate professional experience into a collection of books and practical tools for the modern home. My goal is to provide resources across the three ripples of care:

Self-Care: Resources to help you find your own center.

Home Care: Stories and guides to reset the rhythm of your family life.

Community Care: Tools to help us build a more compassionate world, together.

By blending these worlds, I provide trauma-informed, practical support for your family’s unique journey.

Rooted in the Reality of Parenting

I’m walking this journey right alongside you. I know what it’s like to juggle carpools, meal planning, and the thousand tiny details that fill a parent’s day.

My three children are my primary inspiration (and my toughest critics!) for the stories and tools I create.

Some days are beautiful and some feel like survival mode. Both are normal, and both are welcome here.
